Private & Group Classes

Private lessons are customized to each student’s ability level to develop their technique, concentration, posture, tone, and manner.

Group classes are designed to polish skills in a collaborative and interactive setting. The combination of private and group lessons effectively help our students develop a sense of teamwork, leadership, confidence, fine techniques, and listening skills.

All our instructors are registered Suzuki teachers with extensive experience in teaching students at every age and level.

Numerous recitals and concerts throughout the school year offer supportive platforms for our students to master their performance skills and to boost their confidence level.

OrKIDstra

OrKIDStra is a great place to meet other young musicians and to have fun playing together! This ensemble will provide an upbeat and challenging collaborative experience for young string musicians wanting to explore the world of the string orchestra. Participants will meet weekly to play stimulating pieces from the string orchestral repertoire as a full ensemble, in sectional rehearsals, and in occasional joint rehearsals with the other Midland Odessa Youth Orchestras. This group will train string players in all of the skills needed to move into the Midland Odessa Youth Orchestra. In addition to weekly rehearsals there will be performance opportunities alongside the Midland Odessa Youth Orchestra and West Texas Suzuki, providing a delightful musical and multigenerational experience!

Baby Music Class

Scientific research confirms that music in the first three years of life stimulates physical, social, and intellectual growth. At the conservatory we carefully designed this program to use music, movement, activities, and children’s books to encourage early growth in language and reading readiness. This program also helps children develop rhythmic and melodic awareness, memory, and social skills.

For newborns and young children up to approximately 3 years.

24 weekly group sessions from September – June. Sessions include classroom fun and concert performances.

Class duration: 60 minutes

Each child must be accompanied by one parent/adult relative.
